where to begin?

Well so much has happened I don't even know where to begin. I started school this past fall and its kept me incredibly busy. In my last post I briefly wrote why I took down the pictures. There have been so many abductions of children and this site is open for all to see.Not something I'm comfortable with AT ALL! It got me to thinking about real safety for children. So much so that I organized a seminar with the executive director of the Heidi Search Center to come down to Pleasanton and teach parents the new methods that people use to abduct children and how to teach our children to avoid situations like that. We had a small turn out but so much valuable and insightful information was to given to us.
I also celebrated my 31st birthday... it was a FUN weekend. Had dinner with my husband and another couple at our favorite restaurant, bowling with four other couples from football another night, then a bar b que and some Cowboys football with friends, old and new, on Sunday. Can still keep up with the best of 'em. :) I didn't use to mind my age but for a while there it began to bother me. Not sure why... actually, thats a lie. I know why. I was 30 and hadn't done all I said I would by then. But now I'm 31, healthy, in school, and happy. Some days if not most are stressful but I keep a picture of my family with me at all time and that picture reminds me why I need to work harder.
Anyway, I digress, today I'm decorating for Christmas, studying, doing laundry, making chicken tortilla soup, getting some clothes ready for charity, studying, and just felt like wwriting. Did I mention studying? ;) Finals are next week and I gotta be ready. Guess this is all for now, until next time when the urge to write hits again.
